My current up and going crabitat50 viewsThis isn't the best shot of it, it was before I cleaned it so the substrate looks dry. Should have taken a photo when it was done but that's my current tank until I get my other things going.

Michele213's crabitat70 viewsMy 10 gallon tat with cocohusk eco-earth substrate, pieces of destroyed moss, a fish net climbing wall featuring craft store fake vines. Somewhere there is 3 PP's and 3 E's. The huge chunk of wood was a side of the road freebie, as are the rocks in the water dishes and buried in the substrate. The lilacs, grass and dandelions are a fresh edition. The cheap plant pot in the back is a favorite with the E's, but the PP's constantly try to bury it!

First crabitat!46 viewsIt's 30 gallons. It contains 50 lbs of sand; Eco-earth on the left, plain on the right. Terrarium moss is scattered around. There's a saline and a fresh H2O bowl in the sandy area. On the left is a food bowl and a climbing stick, as well as our temp/hygrometers. The back wall contains a repti-therm. There is a coconut hull climbing wall near the saline bowl on the back right. There is a fake plant in the transition zone. Also a cocohut and a bark shelter. Lots of shells.

Pool side view53 viewsOn the "beach" side of the tank are: 1) a "pool" with sea shell peddles so they can climb in and out easily, 2) a staircase/2nd level; and 3) a green hammock. The purpose of the green hammock was in case they fell off of the 2nd level. It's a safety net so they would not crash into the pool.

Side Shower Caddy Upside Down56 viewsThis side view of tank shows a shower caddy - upside down - with a cork/bark wall sewn onto it. The purpose of this is to 1) create a 2nd level; 2) climbing opportunities; and 3) a cave/hiding area. Note: The shower caddy has holes in it, which made it easy to attach the wall onto it and to provide some ventilation.

78 viewsThis is the new 55 gallon crabitat. Lots of climbing with vines, cholla logs and hemp nets. The back of the tank is covered with a rainforest background, giving the look of a lush garden. Lots of places to hide with the cork log and silk plants. The broken Incan pot is a hide used in aquariums. Mar 21, 2010

Front of crabitat for November.64 viewsThe tank is a 20L with Caribsea sugar sand. I added another bag of Caribsea sand to the tank (not sugar), the next oolitic size up. There is a moss pit on the upper level, a separate 2nd level which is fishnet suspended from the cover above, and holds several shells. 2 water ponds, water in a shell on the moss pit, shells for food , greenery, cholla wood and 2 sets of gauges.Nov 28, 2009
